Tommy Pickens III was born in Los Angeles CA, where he serves at his home church, Antelope Valley Christian Center located in Lancaster, CA. As an assistant pastor to his father, Pastor Tom Pickens Jr., they are focused on improving their community by developing them into the champions God has called them into being. Prior to becoming a pastor, he attended  RHEMA Bible Training Center in 2001, while running point guard on the college basketball team known as the “Rhema Eagles” and then graduating from the 3rd Year School of Pastoral Studies in 2004. He also graduated from Oral Roberts University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management in 2007.

Tommy's love for business has led him to become an entrepreneur and business owner in the financial industry with over 9 years of elite training and experience as a Senior broker. His mission is to create financial and spiritual freedom for families and individuals worldwide by stirring up the gift God has placed on the inside of them to create a business and generate wealth according to the principles in Deuteronomy 8:18, which is why many refer to him as the “Pastorprener”.

His love for basketball also led him to starting a 4-time championship basketball program that sent many to colleges such as UCLA and the pros. He gained national notoriety for developing young men on and off the court for life with Biblical principles, as the media referred to them as the “NBA Church Team”. He is also the founder and CEO of Young & Unashamed Clothing, a clothing line that is committed to representing God in a fashionable way, which has sold all over the world extending to New Zealand and Africa. Tommy is in the process of publishing his first book, along with launching his first podcast titled “Talks with Tommy”. When he's not keeping busy teaching all over the world or running his businesses, you can find him gaining the most joy by spending quality time playing basketball with his son Tommy Pickens IV, or attending daddy-daughter dances with his daughter Alannah Pickens.
